Most Scout troops in most Scout associations world-wide believe they are using Patrol Method. But the sad truth is that it’s rare for troops to use true Patrol Method as envisioned by Lord Baden-Powell of Gilwell, Chief Scout and Founder of World Scouting. It was still in common use on through the 1960’s, but has virtually disappeared.
